Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1929 Ford Model A Woodie (chassis a2666614) was purchased three years ago by the seller from the family of the original owners, the Braun family. The family had this vehicle lovingly restored by Bill Coleman of Huston, Texas, who is considered one of the top experts on Model A restorations  in the country. Every nut and bolt was gone through and restored, including replacing the excellent woodwork through out the car. The seller says that the restoration is top shelf, and it is now available in Kauai, Hawaii for $38,500.

This 1975 Mercedes Benz 450 SLC seems like an unlikely but super-cool rally car, and is said to be rough and ready but not a polished show car?perfect. Our German is a bit rough, but we believe the ad is telling us it's recently placed as an overall class winner. The idea of racing a big, luxurious coupe with an automatic transmission is delightfully twisted, and even if it never made another podium we'd be having too much fun behind the wheel to care. Find it here on Classic Driver in Heilbron, Germany for $25,450 euros (~$34,640today).

Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1970 Ginetta G15 has been used exclusively as a road car and has only one owner previous to the selling dealer. The original purchase receipt, kit build instructions, and detailed maintenance history are included with the sale, and a number of key detail improvements have been carried out as part of a sympathetic sounding restoration. Impossibly small and pretty, these cars are dwarfed even by an Elan from the same era, and this one looks sharp in light blue with hubcaps. Find it here at Sussex Sports Cars in Sussex, England for 8,950 GBP (~$14,608 today).

This 1974 BMW 2002tii Touring is said to have only 21,871 miles from new and ha some choice period Alpina components. The seller doesn't call it an A4, but does claim that the Alpina modifications were "factory installed," and they include seats, wheels, and very valuable fuel-injection set-up. We've featured several A4 clones in the past in the USA, but it would be interesting to see the paper trail on this car. Find it here at Auto Toy Store in Munich, Germany for 49,950 euros (~$67k today).
