Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1951 Jaguar XK120 (chassis 671403) is a very early example  that benefits from six decades of documentation, numbers matching drivetrain and body, a Jaguar Heritage Certificate, and two owners from new?the original?s family still harboring the car as late as 2012. A mechanically sorted, straight, and rust free car with solid driver level cosmetics, the seller has performed several practical and well judged reliability improvements in addition to important maintenance jobs detailed further below. Included history certifies the car?s current 35,624 miles as original and accurate and it?s said to run and drive excellently. It is now available in New Canaan, Connecticut for $75,000.

This 1970 Volvo 1800E (VIN 18445132160) is a very clean example in a fantastic color and is said to have been with the same family for 40 years now. Cosmetically restored about 10-12 years ago, the car was resprayed and carefully color matched to the original factory hue. Panasport wheels are the perfect choice, and overall the car looks excellent save for a few very minor details?pretty impressive for a car with 434,500 miles from new. Find it here on eBay in Palm Desert, California with no reserve.

This 1968 Ford Bronco (chassis U15NLC92263) is a rare and unusual delivery model as demonstrated by its combination of front bench seat, bulkhead dividing the passenger space from a seat-less rear cargo compartment, and full length hardtop. The truck benefits from what sounds like a good quality cosmetic and structural restoration, and its believed matching numbers 289/3-speed drivetrain combo and largely stock appearance is ideal. Find it here on eBay in Huntington Beach, California with a $19,500 BIN.

This 1970 Citroen D-Special (VIN 4645597) is described as a mechanically sorted driver with decent cosmetics. A US delivery car, it?s been converted to Euro spec swiveling, glass covered headlights?a huge plus, and an expensive and difficult addition. The ID was a less expensive version of the DS with simpler oleopneumatics, and was renamed the D-Special in 1969. This one retains the DS?s self-leveling suspension and magic carpet ride, but replaces that car?s available semi-automatic, pre-selector gearbox with a column-shift 4-speed manual, conventional clutch and brake pedals. The car is now available in Maryland for $10,600.

This 1968 Triumph TR250 appears to be in very nice condition and runs an unspecified but modern looking twin scroll supercharger setup. A factory Surrey top car, it looks good sitting over 72 spoke chrome wire wheels?also OEM?and we dig the bumperless, long exhaust treatment as well. Built strictly for the US market for only 15 months between 1967 and ?68, from the factory these cars were about 40 HP down on the broadly similar Euro market TR5, something that blower likely more than compensates for. Find it here at Wilson Motor Co. (ninth car down) in Washington, Missouri for $44,995.
