Update: Modified 1974 AMC Javelin
11/29/2015 Update: Three years later almost to the day, this modified 1974 AMC Javelin is back on the market with a price lowered $1,000. Our thoughts on the car haven’t changed, namely that it’s a great-looking build with impressive sounding performance, despite a handful of overtly modern touches and a few slightly unbalanced-sounding mechanical modifications. Still, with big brakes, a mildly built 401 and close-ratio 4-speed, we’re sure it goes as good as it looks in unlikely-but-attractive Porsche Braun Kupfer paint over Vintage Wheel Works rolling stock. Find it here on Craigslist in Shakopee, Minnesota for $24k. Special thanks to BaT reader Scott T. for this submission.
Under a Grand: Running 1991 Alfa Romeo 164 5-Speed
This 1991 Alfa Romeo 164 (VIN ZAREA33L6M6210640) looks a bit scruffy, but is said to run with 64k miles from new. Details are limited, and these cars can be tricky to keep going even in good condition, but the prospect of a proper Busso V6-powered, 5-speed manual equipped Alfa for under a grand is pretty tempting. Find it here on Craigslist in Perth Amboy, New Jersey for $990. Special thanks to BaT reader Guy C. for this submission.
One of Less Than 800: 1999 Mercedes Benz C43 AMG Estate
This Mercedes Benz C43 AMG estate is a good-looking example of a model that’s rare worldwide, and never reached the US at all. Stuffed into the nose of this W202 chassis five-door is a tuned 4.3 liter SOHC V8 from a W212 chassis E-class, good here for a bit over 300 HP. Claimed to be one of less than 800 ever built, this one has close to 86k miles, but seems to be well-looked after. Find it here on eBay in Burnaby, BC, Canada for $13,900 OBO.
Two Owner 1972 Honda Z600 w/ Custom Trailer
This 1972 Honda Z600 is a claimed two-owner example that comes with a custom-made, matching trailer. Both car and tow-along look to be in very nice shape, and the seller details both a factory-correct respray and engine rebuilt dating to the original owner. Find the pair here on eBay in Los Gatos, California for $14,500 OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Steve L. for this submission.

Well Documented 1971 Lancia Fulvia 1.6 HF Lusso
This 1971 Lancia Fulvia 1.6 HF Lusso (chassis 818740001317) is an uncommon Series 2 model repainted in eye-catching Giallo Maya typically seen on 1.3 cars. The car comes with all documents from the first day sold, and the seller claims that the engine was rebuilt by a Bugatti specialist while in Italy. Find it here on eBay in Carson, California with reserve not met.
Unlikely Rally Build: Group A Prepped BMW 635CSi
This BMW 635CSi’s model year isn’t specified, but the car has been thoroughly prepped for Group A rally duty and looks fantastic. Relatively big and heavy, an E24 isn’t the most logical choice for a rally build, but that’s probably a big part of why it’s so cool as well. Find it here on Rally Sales in Kamil, Poland for 44k euros (~$46,600 USD today). Special thanks to BaT reader John H. for this submission.
Red Eyes: 1970 Lombardi Grand Prix 850 Project
This 1970 Lombardi Grand Prix 850 (chassis FLA1508542F1) is sold with minimal information apart from a copy-and-paste history lesson, however it is made clear that the car has been kept indoors for the last 30 years or so and is not currently running. Despite a quick-and-dirty respray and minor body damage, the car looks largely complete and restorable, and sale includes a clear title. Find it here on eBay in Lakewood, New Jersey with no reserve beyond an unmet $11k opening bid. Special thanks to BaT reader Scott M. for this submission.
17K Mile RHD Creampuff : 1989 Volvo 760 GLE
This Volvo 760 GLE (VIN YV1764697K0071017) comes from the same seller who offered a heavily-optioned JDM Toyota Crown featured here recently, and may be a Japanese-market example as well. Known for their exceptional longevity, with just 17k miles on the clock this example is barely broken in. With just a few very minor blemishes shown, this one looks better than many new cars with similar mileage. Find it here on eBay in Apopka, Florida with a $14,500 BIN. Special thanks to BaT reader Support for this submission.
