Muncie 4-Speed: Lightly Modified 1970 Z/28 Camaro
This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (chassis 124870L531170) is listed as a rust free, real-deal Z/28 that includes a build sheet. These early second generation F-bodies feature a striking shape ruined by a facelift and impact bumpers fitted to later models, and this one looks nice in photos. It packs a lightly breathed-on 350 matched with a 4-speed and 10 bolt, 3.73:1 gear equipped rear end. Find it here on Craigslist in Attleboro, Massachusetts for $25k.
Not Many Left: 1990 Audi Coupe Quattro
This 1990 Audi Coupe Quattro is a 20 valve, naturally aspirated five cylinder model. These coupes are among the most attractive German designs of the era, and though never sold in the US in large numbers, they’ve been nearly extinct for more than a decade. This one has well north of 100k miles, but looks good Euro spec headlights–original Speedline wheels are included as well. Find it here on Craigslist in Vienna, Virginia for $4,500 OBO.
Rare Drop-Side Pick-Up: 1960 Subaru 360 Project
This 1960 Subaru 360 pick-up (chassis K153l3215) will need extensive rust and mechanical repair, but doesn’t look beyond restoration. 360 vans pop up for sale on occasion, but these drop-side trucks are particularly rare in the US. All glass is intact as well, though the two stroke twin is currently out of the truck and will likely need a full rebuild. Find it here on eBay in Bogata, Texas with no reserve.
One-Off Binz Conversion: Beautiful 1956 Mercedes Benz 300C Estate
This 1956 Mercedes Benz 300C estate is a one-off Binz bodied conversion commissioned from new by whom the auction house describes as NYC socialite and American Tobacco Company heir Caroline Ryan Foulke. Since restored to what appears to be a very high standard, the car has an incredible presence and surprising grace. Find it here at Gooding who are offering it as lot 017 at their January 29th & 30th Scottsdale sale, where it is estimated to pull between $375k-$425k.
