Impressive Flatroof: 1959 Cadillac Sedan de Ville
This 1959 Cadillac Sedan de Ville is a sharp-looking four-window hardtop “flatroof” model, distinguished from six-window, sloped-roofline cars by its distinct and visually impressive wraparound rear window. Fresh out of storage, the seller says it runs and drives nicely following a tuneup, brake checkup and oil change, though flat-spotted tires will need replacement and the functionality of its many electrical accessories is not mentioned. Find it here on eBay in Syracuse, New York with reserve not met and fast bidding. Special thanks to BaT reader Mark S. for this submission.
Dragon Wagon: 1975 Lockheed Model 901 8×8
This 1975 Lockheed Model 901 Dragon Wagon is an interesting 8×8 example of the model that paved the way for better known MK48 and HEMTT missile platforms. Purchased new in 1975 by a utility company in Arizona, the truck is now with its second owner and shows just under 37k miles. With a 636ci Caterpillar turbodiesel V8, eight wheel-drive and a ten ton capacity winch, this thing would be plenty cool even if it wasn’t engineered and built by a company behind the U2, SR-71 and countless other incredible planes. Find it here on eBay in Alamogordo, New Mexico with reserve not met.
Tasteful Upgrades: Partially Restored 1972 Jaguar E-type FHC 2+2 Manual
This 1972 Jaguar E-type FHC is a SIII V12 model with the desirable manual transmission, and though only partially restored, the seller has already paid for quite a bit of work including metal repair, a factory-correct respray, a full engine rebuild and more. Though the 2+2 roofline spoils things a bit, we dig the color and applaud the seller’s decision to fit a covered headlight SI bonnet and Dunlop alloy wheels. Find it here on Craigslist in Estes Park, Colorado for $33k. Special thanks to BaT reader Casey D. for this submission.
Potential Track Build: Fire Damaged 1994 Ferrari 348 Spider
This 1994 Ferrari 348 Spider (VIN ZFFRG43A0R0096810) is offered with a clean title despite extensive damage resulting from an interior fire, which from the description sounds to have been due to faulty dash wiring. Missing several body panels, lights, glass and more, the car is very incomplete, but fortunately both the high-revving, compact V8 and transaxle remain. Both appear to be relatively intact despite melted wiring, and the seller says the engine will turn over with power applied directly to the starter. Find it here on eBay in Baker, Montana with an unmet $5k starting bid and additional reserve.
