Two for $75K: 1981 Ferrari 308 GTSi Projects

a

These two 1981 Ferrari 308 GTSi projects are offered together for one price. The seller says that the gray one is a bit more needy than the other, having suffered what’s described as a “moderate” engine bay electrical fire. It’s claimed to be mostly complete however, and its partially disassembled engine still turns freely. The red car runs, but needs “TLC and cosmetic attention.” Title status is listed as clean, and if that applies to both cars, this could prove to be a good opportunity for someone with the right skills. Find them here on Craigslist in Renton, Washington for $75k the pair. Special thanks to BaT reader Toro Rojo for this submission.

V8/5-Speed Convertible: 1955 Ford F-750 Fire & Rescue Truck

This 1955 Ford F-750 (chassis F75J5H54032) is a cool “troop carrier” configured firetruck with a partially retractable roof/rear cabin, and it looks to remain in good overall condition despite some rust. It’s said to have been garaged, and power comes from what looks like a Y-block V8 backed by a 5-speed manual, however the ad is unfortunately brief and running/driving condition remains unclear. Find it here on eBay in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with no reserve.

Shaft-Drive Six: 1982 Kawasaki Z1300

This 1982 Kawasaki Z1300 is one of a small handful of straight-six road bikes offered over the years, and though sold with minimal information, the bike is suitably unusual–and apparently well-preserved–to warrant a closer look. Offered over a ten-year period ending in 1989, this earlier, carbureted and conventionally sprung example will be slightly down on power compared with later, fuel-injected and air suspended bikes, but 120 HP and 85 lb. ft. is still impressive for a nearly 35 year old machine. Find this one here at Carollo Moto Classiche in Bassano del Grappa for 7,500 euros (~$8,200 USD today). Special thanks to BaT reader Paul C. for this submission.

Sharp Automatic Cruiser: 1966 Corvair Monza Convertible

1966 Corvair Monza Convertible

This 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza convertible is described as an “original survivor car” with 51,630 miles. Reportedly a California car prior to moving north 15 years ago, the car looks nice in photos and benefits from rebuilt carbs, a new starter, fresh battery, new fuel pump, fan belt and more. Sale includes spare brake parts still in boxes, and though shown here wearing faux wire wheel covers with spinners, sale also includes an excellent set of period ET mags which can be seen fitted below. Find it here on Craigslist in Aldergrove, BC, Canada for $10,500 CAD (~$7,800 USD today). Special thanks to BaT reader KLSL for this submission.
