Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1976 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider (chassis AR3048699) has been with the seller since 1991. Twelve years later it was treated to a bare metal body restoration, and between 2011 and 2013 mechanicals were refurbished largely by noted expert Paul Glynn of Glynn Motorsports. The car looks straight and clean, and we really like this bright shade of green. The seller describes it as being in number 2+ condition, and has been awarded with a Tutto Italiano trophy for best Spider, 1970-1989. It?s said to be absolutely rust-free, strong running, and is always garaged. It is now available in Arlington, Massachusetts for $15k.

This 1973 Citroen SM 5-speed was restored by the renowned SM World over several years, the body being completed in 2007, and has a fresh full mechanical restoration including upgraded engine and A/C.  This car also has the coveted and rare European turning headlights, and the photos of the front end of the car in different stages of assembly are both impressive and scary.  Find it here on Hemmings.com in Los angeles, California for $75k.

This 1931 Model A roadster (chassis A6794679) is a tasteful build done in a period correct style with authentic, factory Ford parts. The A Roadster market is flooded with fiberglass bodies, faux patinas, flame jobs, and other offenses, so we?re always pleased to run across well-executed, traditional hot rods such as this. The car seems to be built for driving, and though clean and sorted looking doesn?t seem over-detailed or excessively polished as many similar cars can be. Find it here on eBay in Bountiful, Utah.

This 1974 Saab Sonett III (chassis 97745001574) was purchased by the current seller two years ago as a restoration in progress. He has brought it to a condition that he says far outshines the model when new, and the car looks great in the photos. Having owned and semi-restored a Sonett ourselves, we'd say they are a great model to check off your list at some point, and all the better if you can find one that someone else has dumped their paychecks into. Find it here on eBay in Eagle, Idaho.

3/31/2014 Update: Almost 4 years later, this Triumph Italia that was sold here as a BaT Exclusive is now being offered in similar condition. Find it here at Forza Motorsports in Gaylordsville, Connecticut for $35k. Special thanks to BaT reader John N. for this update!

This 1967 NSU TT 1200 has been racing in the Midwest since new, and looks ready to win again with a new driver. It seems a bit less wild than the flared and wide slick-shod example we featured a couple weeks ago, but it has the distinct advantages of already being stateside, with a price tag of around two-thirds of the orange model. This car seems very well prepared, and should make for a quick, fun ride. Find it here on eBay in Pardeeville, Wisconsin, for $36,000 or offer.
