Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1970 NSU Ro80 is in remarkable all-original condition, even retaining its often troublesome factory 1,000 CC rotary where many have received Mazda swaps. We see just under 28k on the odometer, and they must have been very easy kilometers because everywhere the seller's camera has been aimed looks essentially as-new. Along with the Citroen DS, these Wankel wonders rank high on the most forward thinking car design list, and very few remain on the road today. Find this one here at Veni Vidi Vici in Castricum, Netherlands for 19,750 euros (~$26,832 today).

This 1978 Dodge Diplomat station wagon runs a 440 Six Pack from a '69 Super Bee for which it was featured in the February 1991 issue of Mopar Action magazine. It's super clean and fully loaded, and as demonstrated in the article cover page, capable of massive, smoky burnouts?our kind of family car. We'd take the wheels back to the stock hubcaps to erase any hint of performance, and then save our money for spare rear tires. Find it here on eBay in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.

Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1990 Ford Taurus SHO (chassis 1FACP54Y8LA214809) is said to have just under 64k miles from new and looks to be in fantastic shape. Admittedly a Taurus doesn't sound like much fun, but these were really all about that fabulous all alloy, quad cam, 24 valve Yamaha V6. Handling was decent too, especially for a sports sedan built in America at the time. Black is arguably the best color for the model, and these early, pre-facelift cars are getting very scarce. Find it here on eBay in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

This 1985 BMW 528e is the lucky recipient of a 340 HP LS1 V8 and 6-speed swap from a '99 Chevrolet Camaro. It's a bit shabby cosmetically but sounds pretty well-built and sorted?it's said to be daily driven and to have accumulated 15k trouble-free miles since completion. Silver over Cardinal Red leather is among the best E28 OEM color combos, and with a re-spray this one could be an absolutely killer sleeper sedan. The only other V8-swapped E28 we featured sat on the market at $25k+ for some time. Find this one here on myE28.com in Bay City, Michigan for only $11k, with additional options for the Style 5's shown and a parts car.

This 1971 Honda AN600 (chassis AN6001034768) looks near immaculate in and out and has recently undergone what looks like a high quality, interior out respray and cosmetic restoration. Out here in California we see these on the streets and at shows from time to time, but they're almost never anywhere near as nice as this example. Accident and rust-free from new, it'd be a challenge to find another with similar history. Find it here on eBay in Costa Mesa, California with reserve not met.
