Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1989 Toyota MR2 (chassis JT2AW15J6K0145825) has been with the seller for 20 years and retains its original interior and almost all factory paint, both of which still look very nice. A so-called Mk 1.5 car, it?s had the factory 1.6, naturally aspirated 4AGE replaced with a built 2.2 liter turbo 3SGTE good for a dyno verified 250 WHP, after which an exhaust has bumped it another 10+. Total chassis mileage is approaching 87k, with the swapped motor accounting for less than 2k. The seller ordered his first MR2 new in 1984, and this is his second, which he says is how the factory should have built them. It is now available in Portland, Maine for $12,500.

This 1993 Mazda Rx-7 R1 (VIN JM1FD3313P0202748) is said to be an all original, 1-owner example with only 21k miles on the twin-turbo engine. It has the desirable R1 option that included a sport suspension, dual oil coolers, a strut tower brace, and factory aero components. This one checks all the right boxes, and looks nearly factory-fresh to boot. The best news is that it has a perfect black interior and not beige. Find this one here on eBay in San Jose, California for $25,900.

Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1948 DeSoto Suburban (chassis 5942501) was purchased from its first owner by the seller?s uncle in 1951, and he loved the car so much that it's silhouette was engraved on his gravestone at his passing 15 years ago. Originally used by an Iowa funeral home, the car still wears the seat covers it received on day one of its service as a pallbearer?s car 66 years ago?as well as all original paint, chrome, and mechanicals. The engine has never been out or rebuilt, and the car has 66k miles from new. Many of these car succumbed to Taxi duty, but this one in all original black is the cleanest we have ever seen. It is now available in Edgerton, Minnesota for $32,500.

This 1964 Cortina GT looks like a clean build, and is offered at the price of a real Lotus 15 years ago. Bodywork, chrome, and other trim all look very nice, and though wearing a nicely applied Lotus Cortina tribute paint scheme, it retains GT badging. We love clone cars that get road miles far more than genuine cars that only see trailers or shows. This one is great as-is, or could be taken to the next level with a creative engine swap. Find it here on eBay in Waxahachie, Texas for $22k OBO.

This 1971 Lamborghini Jarama 400 GT (chassis 10224) has only 26,014 miles from new, though is in project condition. Being driven only once by the previous owner, whose intention was restoring the car, it appears in the same condition as it was in the late 1980s, according to the seller. Despite light rust being noted, the Jarama is said to be complete, and features fantastically knackered Miura wheels. The proportions on this car are wonderful. Find it here at Fantasy Junction in Emeryville, California for $74,500.
