Done Up: 1949 Flxible Starliner Restomod Motorhome This 1949 Flxible Starliner bus has been tastefully converted into a motorhome with some modern touches but still enough vintage details. The exterior has been restored in the original color scheme, and Alcoa alloys and a GM Ram Jet 502 big block have been added. Subaru Swapped: 1988 VW Vanagon Wolfsburg This 1988 VW Vanagon Wolfsburg was given much better performance when a Subaru Legacy EJ25 boxer four was swapped in about 25k miles ago. The current seller uses the car as his daily driver, and we like many of the modifications. Click here to read more...   Period Built and Shown: 1953 Ford Victoria Kustom Project This 1953 Ford Victoria is a traditional custom with frenched headlights and custom taillights, lightly chopped top, accentuated side skirts, and additional grille in the hood. Previously equipped with a 289 and auto trans, the seller has swapped in a Flathead V8 with column-shift manual though driveability is lacking due to a suspected clutch issue. Offered as a project, the Ford is said to have seen at least one restoration in the 1980's but shows aged paint and beginning rust according to the seller. Designed for SCCA Showroom Stock racing, the ILE offered upgraded brakes, suspension and other pieces included when a carefully selected mix of add-ons and delete options triggered fitment of the rare package on the assembly line. Many were bought and mothballed with hopes for a future, COPO-like rise in value, but this is the lowest mileage example we've seen yet. Click here to read more...   Rare in the USA: 1973 Citroen DSuper5 Decapotable Conversion This 1973 Citroen DSuper 5 is believed to have been converted in France sometime after Chapron ended production of similar coachbuilt convertible or decapotable cars. The DSuper5 was the highest 1973 trim level of the ID line, itself a less expensive DS with fewer luxuries and conventional brakes and transmission, in this case a column-shifted 5-speed. Said to be very well maintained with excellent cosmetics, the car looks great in photos and retains fantastic Euro-spec swiveling headlights.
