This 1988 Nissan Safari is described as a legally imported example of the rugged JDM/Aussie utility vehicle never sold here in the States. The high roof, two-tone paint and big roof rack lend an air of unstoppability found in few other vehicles. 8/27/2013 Update: 10 months after it was listed here on BaT, this Lotus Elan is once again on offer by the new owner, who is apparently a Seven & Caterham specialist. He got the car for somewhere south of the previous asking price, as he says he is asking what he has into it, and it has been sitting for the last month here on LotusElan.net in Akron, Ohio for $32,500. This 1967 Volvo P1800S was the recent subject of a bare metal restoration, and has a claimed 26,800 miles.With a beautiful, high-quality paint job, very nice interior, and solid, clean mechanicals, this is one of the nicest we've spotted in a while.
