| BaT Exclusive: Proven 1968 Datsun 510 Race Car
This 1968 Datsun 510 has been raced by the current seller for the last 8 years with RMVR and CVAR. He calls it a very reliable car with only 2 DNFs in 8 competitive seasons of vintage racing. The car is race ready with a professionally freshened 1800 cc engine, and we like how it looks sharp in BRE colors and stripes but isn't trying to exactly replicate the Morton #46 car. This combo of performance, style, and racing heritage is hard for any other racing sedan to match at this price point. This one is now available in Centennial, Colorado for $13,500. This 1973 Citroen SM (chassis 00SD0689) is said to have been restored to near perfect condition by renowned model specialists SM World just north of Los Angeles, California back in 2003. It's an automatic, unfortunately denying the new owner the experience of one of the all-time great manual shifts, but it looks good in deep navy blue over what look like butterscotch hides. Cars prepped by SM World often command a market premium, potentially making this example quite a bargain. It also sounds like the owner is an older woman who very reasonably wants out of owning a vintage car. Find it here on eBay in San Rafael, California with a $14k BIN. Click here to read more... |
