This 1959 Devin-bodied Renault special was purchased by the seller in 2007 at the Puyallup swap meet in project form. It was formerly registered as a street car and there is a story of the car being built as early as 1962, as outlined below. The seller restored it starting in the Fall of 2010, and had it complete the night before the HMSA Portland Historics in 2011, equipping it with Dauphine Gordini 4-wheel disk brakes and an 850cc Dauphine Gordini engine. It has a current SCCA log book and has been raced at Laguna Seca, Portland, and The Ridge, and is in turn-key condition. It is now available in Allyn, Washington for $20k.
