This TVR 2500M was the subject of a custom build by the current seller to 1967 specifications using a TR4 powerplant and a host of other creative mods. The seller primarily races the car with the Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association, but it is also street legal. The goal was to take the car vintage racing, and it has been awarded VSCDA's 'Era Correct' medallion, which means it has specially approved it to race in their vintage events even though it was built from a later production car. This 1966 Volvo 122S coupe (chassis 173269) spent its first 39 years with the original owner, and apart from one good quality respray in its original color, is said to be nearly 100% original. This Norwood Ferrari 330 P4 tribute car is said to have belonged to Norwood himself, and is powered by a custom five-liter Donovan twelve cylinder block fitted with OEM Ferrari Testarossa heads. It's said to have been fully dialed-in after an extensive rebuild and resto by the previous owner. Only three real P4s were built, and even with this hefty price tag, it is well under 10% of the cost of the real thing (over 7M Euros in 2009).
