Detroit Elegance: 1962 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
This 1962 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is said to be mostly original apart from a good quality respray in the original color, and it looks to be in excellent shape. Mileage is given as just under 48,000, an entirely believable number. It's said to be entirely rust-free and 100% functional, right down to the Autronic Eye automatic headlight dimmer. This is our favorite Caddy year at the moment, and once it is pointed out you can't take your eyes off that lower fin behind the rear wheels. Find it here on eBay in Syracuse, New York. This 1988 Lamborghini Countach is a non-running project with a stripped interior but original engine and transmission intact. The seller says that the interior was removed for replacement, but it was never completed, and that the car has some 25th Anniversary components. It is unusual to find a genuine Countach in this condition, and the dash spaghetti photo is the scariest thing we will see this week. Find it in Long Island, New York for $55k. This 1971 AMC Javelin AMX (chassis A1M798P257545) is one of only 2054 built that year, and has recently undergone a large list of cosmetic and mechanical restoration work. We love the factory Tic Toc Tach and the stripe scheme, and the seller has the car sitting just right on custom widened steel wheels. We usually like the early Javelins better, but with this wheel/tire combo and ride height those wild front fenders really look good. This exact color combo was used on the AMX brochure that year. Find it here on eBay in Costa Mesa, California with a $24,750 BIN. Click here to read more... |
