Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1966 Chevrolet Corvair was given a Crown V8 conversion "back in the day," but has recently be substantially improved by the current seller to be a really nice driving car. These conversions were often very crude and done at the hands of talentless drunken fabricators, so to find one that is well sorted is near impossible. This seller details the steps he has taken to make this one very good, and it sounds like it would be an entertaining car to drive. Find it here on eBay in Milton, Massachusetts. Special thanks to BaT reader S.D. for this submission!

These two BMW 700s were just recently restored by a BaT reader in Florida and have quickly made their way to marque-specialist Enthusiast Auto in the Midwest. Both cars have been finished in excellent colors and with matching alloy wheels. The coupe is reminiscent of the factory race cars with its deleted bumpers and non-metallic gray finish, which the cabrio is more true to original with a stock steering wheel and two-toned upholstery. Find the cabrio here and the coupe here and here at Enthusiast Auto in Cincinnati, Ohio for $69,990 each. Special thanks to BaT reader Dan C. for this submission!

This just in from the seller of the  BaT Exclusive Alfa Romeo Spider that we recently featured:

"Hi BaT,

The Alfa sold immediately to the first person that responded, and there were several "ready and willing" back-up buyers.

The lucky new owner is Robert C. (he previously sold a Chevron B29 through BaT (link) ).  Robert is the retired president of Honda Performance Development,  featured here in an ESPN IndyCar article. He and his wife are moving to Indianapolis, and the car will be transported there (too bad about the timing, as it could have gone in the same transporter as my BaT Exclusive Ford highboy that also went to Indy).

They both loved the Alfa and seemed very excited to get it.  I think the condition was even better than they expected it to be. Thanks again for the wonderful service BaT does bringing serious buyers and sellers together!

Best,
Mark M.

Ventura, California"

Congratulations on the second quick sale, Mark! Great to see it go to Robert, as well. Best of luck to both of you and the car! -BaT
