Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1980 Renault Alpine A310 is said to be one of seven the seller has owned over the years, and he counts it as the best driving and most reliable among them. he should know, since he claims to have had it for 21 years. Described as a fast, dependable driver, it's not perfect cosmetically, but looks like it is ready to drive. It looks approximately nineteen times better on period 15-inch Gotti wheels than the 17-inch Enkei replicas shown in some photos, but fortunately both are included. Find it  here on eBay in Conover, North Carolina.

BaT fan and Mercedes authority Roy Spencer is up to something interesting. He contacted us to let us know about a stash of historic motorsport photos that he has come across in his family archive that he intends to publish.

Until this most recent topic came up, we didn't know that Roy's father Bev Spencer was the Buick and Ferrari dealer here in the Bay Area back in the 60s, and that he had a race team through which the most wonderful Ferraris of the era were put on track. Better yet, there are photos of him towing his 1963 Ferrari GTO to the track with a brand-new 1963 Buick Riviera coupe, perhaps the coolest combination we have ever been shown. Wow.

So Roy is looking to raise some funds through a nicely presented Kickstarter campaign, which includes footage of Bev and Phil Hill running a 250SWB around the Pebble Beach race route. Check out the details here on Kickstarter, and support his effort by pre-ordering a book or putting some cool track photos on your walls!

Best of luck with the project, Roy! BaT just ordered the equivalent of four books as gifts. If the project goes through, we'll give one away to the commenter below who shares the best Ferrari or Buick towing story.

This 1969 Mercedes Benz 300 SEL 6.3 is said to be a meticulously maintained example with five documented, sympathetic owners from new. Partially restored in the early nineties, it wears a good quality older respray in the original black. Said to be 99% rust free, the only spot of corrosion is around the trunk mounted drain hole. Nicely sorted, clean, and ready to drive 6.3s like this are hard to come by. Find it in Traverse City, Michigan or $32k.
