This 1969 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow (chassis SRX6927) was built and campaigned by the 3 Pedal Mafia racing team in the 24 Hours of Lemons series. They had the terrible idea of racing a Rolls in Lemons, and this is the car they found. After buying it a year ago, it has since been the winner of Organizers Choice at the NJ race in August and winner of Index of Effluency at the NH race in October. It is currently registered and insured, has a current title, and is mostly as it was as they finished their last race. All modifications made are completely reversible if the new owners desires, and all parts removed will be included with the sale, as well as a complete 5-volume shop manual set, original owners handbook, and microfiches which document the original ordering, sale, and first few years of service of the car. It is now available in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania for $3500. Click here to read more... |
This 1973 Volvo 1800ES has been professionally built to run an F20C Honda S2000 motor. It looks super straight, very clean, and we dig the shaved bumpers, emblems, and drop over stock steelies. With a probable curb weight of well under 3,000 pounds, 240 HP, and 9,000 RPM we-re sure it's really exciting to drive--at least in a straight line, as unfortunately there's no mention of suspension mods. Still, this thing is super-cool. Find it here on eBay in Calistoga, California. Click here to read more... |
This 1972 Nissan Skyline 2000GT was purchased from its fanatic original Japanese owner in 2010 and has since undergone an extensive restoration. It's said to have always been rust-free, and the finished product looks very good inside, outside, and underneath. The original owner's story is fascinating and sad, the car seen here a fitting tribute to his legacy. These are unusual outside of Japan in any condition, and most restorations don't correct the serious rust issues, so if this car is truly solid and dry it is a very rare specimen. Find it here at JNC and Pistonheads in Tyne and Wear, England for offers in excess of 50k GBP (~$82,155 today). Click here to read more... |
This 1967 Porsche 911S (chassis 307120S) was purchased by the seller roughly 30 years ago as a restoration project. A little bit of work has been done over the years, but for one reason or another he never got around to finishing the job and is now offering the car with a reserve that was surpassed instantly. It looks complete and is sold with a Porsche certificate of authenticity dated 1995. He says that it has been stored "covered and off the ground" and includes photos of the odd ramp/blocks/timber contraption shown below. Find it here on eBay in Livingston, Montana with no reserve and fast bidding. Click here to read more... | Also new on Bring a Trailer:
