Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1978 Datsun 280Z (chassis HLS30440986) was originally purchased by a Mr. Charles Nolan in 1978 at the age of 58 who resided in the Chicago area. He still owned the car when he died at the age of 88 in July of 2008, having amassed only 11,739 documented miles on the car in 30 years according to the seller. He says it wears all original lacquer paint in the Datsun color Persimmon, and has never had any repairs or accidents. The estate sold the car to my collector/dealer in January of 2009 whom the seller purchased from on November 22, 2010 with documented 11,849 miles on the clock. It is now available in Sarasota, Florida for $20k.

This 1961 Mercedes Benz 190Db (chassis 11211021000044) is a rare coachbuilt Kombi version by Karosserie Binz. It's believed to have been a lifelong California car, and might just be given the old black plates from the mid-60s. Despite sitting since the mid-70s or so, it remains mostly solid and complete. These W121 "Ponton" cars were extraordinarily well-built even by classic MB standards, and Binz conversions were quite unusual with a relative few built at great expense. Find it here on eBay in Paradise, California with no reserve. Special thanks to reader KAR for the submission!
