455-Swapped: Modified 1964 Buick Skylark This 1964 Buick Skylark hardtop coupe (chassis 444675H294231) is described as a rust-free, accident-free example given a makeover five years ago that included the addition of a 455 V-8 and 4-speed manual transmission. The changes made make it more of a muscle car than it was originally, and we like that it retains a basically stock appearance inside and out. It looks clean, straight, and complete in photos, though no claims of originality are made. Interestingly, it was a novel idea introduced by the 1004--namely belt-driven OHC valvegear--that would motivate BMW to purchase Glas three years after this particular car was built.
