BaT Exclusive: 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback This 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 2-door hardtop (chassis 3J66Z165189) is set up in the style of a period Super Stocker and is powered by a 390 V8 with dual quads on an Offenhauser manifold. It is a factory black on black car that runs and drives well but needs a paint job, as the seller says it has pimples all through the finish, as well as misc scratches and chips. The seller calls it a nice 10-footer with straight panels that has the 427 lightweight attitude and a 4-speed on the floor. It is now available in Portland, Oregon for $16,500. It's said to run perfectly, and the electric sunroof is a very nice option. We like the swapped disk brakes from the later 356C, and would run this one with no hubcaps and deleted bumper guards with Carrera bumper trim for a reversible modified look.
