This 1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST185 (chassis TC 357-575) is a Group A WRC car campaigned by Toyota Team Europe. It's said to have been piloted by several notable drivers including Juha Kankkunen, who in addition to winning 1993's driver's title, also played a hand in a manufacturer's championship the same year. Didier Auriol would go on to repeat both feats for 1994, though unfortunately he's not said to have driven this particular car. Find it here on Rally 24 somewhere in the UK for 150k euros (~$202,965 today). Click here to read more... |
This 1983 Mercedes Benz 240TD wagon (chassis ) has been given 300% of its factory horsepower thanks to a 5.7L Chevrolet V8 swap. The integration under the hood looks great, maintaining a factory Benz air cleaner, and the engine is backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic. It is claimed to be a 10 year project, but it looks like the door jambs were oversprayed and there is no mention of smog compliance. We would love to see this one in person, and swap on gray Ronal Pentas immediately. it is now available in Malibu, California for $12,900. Special thanks to BaT reader Tirefriar for this submission! This 1968 Skyline GT-B is a rare second generation model first released in 1963 by the Prince Motor Company. Prince was acquired by Nissan in 1966, and for a few years afterwards cars were marketed under both marques depending on spec and market--this particular wears badging with both names. The GT-B (also called 2000GT) is a very special semi-homologation model featuring a triple carb'd, two liter straight six, limited slip differential, 5-speed close ratio gearbox, and dual piston front brakes. Find this example here on CarSales.com.au in Queensland, Australia for $38k AUD (~$33,368 today). Click here to read more... | Also new on Bring a Trailer:
