BaT Exclusive: 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible This 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza convertible (chassis 105675W224525) is a 110hp model with an automatic transmission. It started life in West Virginia, and in the early 70's went off the road causing some minor floor damage and a hole in the oil pan which ultimately led to blown engine, The owner traded the car at a Chevy dealer in WV, where it sat for nearly 35 years. The indicated mileage was 20k at the time. The car was recently stripped to bare metal and no rust was found. The minor floor damage was repaired and the floors were undercoated in the body color. Everything on the car was restored or replaced, and it was repainted with custom red metallic base/clear that is an exact match to the interior, but not the original color. Click here to read more...   FIFA Edition: Clean 1972 Saab Sonett III This 1972 Sonett (chassis 97725001738) has a listing short on useful information, but its patina suggests that it may be largely original. It's said to run and drive well, and the odometer shows 73k miles, likely from new. The black and white paint/decal scheme looks great, and it's said to be entirely accident free. We always wanted some sort of funky factory stripes on our '72 Sonett, and the trim bumpers on this one look to be in good shape as well. Find it here on eBay in Portland, Oregon with no reserve. Click here to read more...   2+2-4: Ford Powered 1964 Ferrari 330GT Project This 1964 Ferrari 330GT 2+2 is rough but looks largely complete--apart from the original V12, that is. It's said to have been with the previous owner for four decades and though it includes the factory overdrive transmission, is currently fitted with a rather crusty looking Ford 302 CI V8. That sound you just heard is a collective gasp from every BaT reading Ferrari purist in America. Though we'd of course prefer to see a Colombo twelve under its narrow hood it remains an interesting car--perhaps even more interesting than stock.
