This 1951 Jowett Jupiter Mk I (chassis No. 89) is said to be one of only two sport convertible bodied examples by coachbuilder Abbott of Farnham. Most of these mechanically interesting cars received frumpy, odd-looking bodies from the West Yorkshire factory, and this one makes us question why Jowett didn't choose a prettier shape like this one for their standard model. It's in need of a total restoration, but is said to be sound and complete. It runs and drives on a non-factory motor, but the matching numbers unit is included with the sale. Find it here on interesting-cars.com in Cornwall, England for 18,750 GBP (~$30,780 today).
