His grandfather bought the car new in Magny, France in 1957 and it was imported to the USA in 1978. These cars are very cool in person, like a Volvo 544 with better details and more doors. Click here to read more...   Ground Zeppelin: Highly Original Tatra T87 This Tatra T87 (chassis 69.368) is a 1947 or 1948 model year car according to its documents, but chassis details suggest it's from an earlier 1939-1942 production batch. Switzerland was one of Tatra's best markets for their big V8 streamliners, and this one has history there dating back to the late 40's. As a result the car's avoided the hard life many former Eastern Bloc examples, and still retains its original interior, floors, sills, and other normally rot-prone panels.
