This 1931 Ford Model A Roadster hot rod (chassis A4561705) has nice proportions and detailing, and was the featured cover and centerfold car in Rod & Custom magazine last summer (link) with photos by Tim Sutton. The car was built by Bear Metal Kustoms out of Morro Bay, California, and started from a genuine '31 Roadster minus the running gear in late 2010, with completion coming some 14 months later. The build theme is said to have centered on its Oakland/Pontiac grille, and the resulting car gives an authentic '50s custom vibe. It's now available in Fort Worth, Texas for $75,000. This 1947 Nardi Danese 750 Barchetta ?Boby? is said to be the only one built, and in addition to being a fascinating, BMW motorcycle-powered engineering exercise also has quite an impressive competition history. According to the seller's write-up, the car won its very first outing at the 1947 Coppa d'Oro delle Dolomiti with Nardi and Danese as driver and co-driver. This 1972 Triumph GT6 was treated to a thorough restoration about seven or eight years ago, but was put into storage when nearly complete after the owner came down with a terminal illness. The current seller purchased it after it sat for an undisclosed time, and his since driven it 5k miles. More than $40,000 in receipts are available, and it's said to be completely rust free, strong driving, and very clean with only minor cosmetic imperfections.
