This 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo (chassis WP0AA0959GN154879) has been highly modified for serious track use and comes with a lengthy, impressive looking build sheet. It remains street registered, and a non-gutted cabin should keep it somewhat civilized. The car has been dynoed at 286 HP and 297 lb-ft of torque and has recently undergone quite a bit of refreshing work including new rod bearings, timing belt and rollers, water pump and more detailed further below. The seller is a long-time Porsche enthusiast and writer for 9 Magazine, and the car comes complete with a discreet hitch and trailer and and additional set of wheels for track outings. It is now available in Argyle, Texas for $13,000. Click here to read more... |
This 1978 Jaguar XJ-S was specially built for that year's Trans-Am season, a championship it would eventually go on to dominate outright with seven straight wins. Driven by Bob Tullius, number 78-44 would ultimately clinch both manufacturer's and driver's cups in its inaugural year. In addition to driving, Tulllius is also credited as founder of Group 44, Inc., the company responsible for building the car up from a Coventry-supplied, acid-dipped bodyshell. Find it here at GTC in Marseille, France for 280k euros (~$384,664 today). Click here to read more... |
This 1966 Triumph TR4A (VIN CT60551-L0) has been carefully maintained by the current owner for the last 13 years, and is described as having received a thorough frame-off restoration by the previous owner. The amount of mechanical work and maintenance performed and detailed in the ad is satisfying, and we wish all sellers were this obsessive about upkeep. We wouldn't think of light blue as the first color choice on a TR4A, but this works, and very well. Find this one here on eBay in Lutz, Florida with reserve unmet.
