This 1972 BMW 2002tii (chassis 2762818) is a sunroof equipped car purchased by the seller as a project eight years ago. As he puts it ?I tinkered a bit, collected some parts, but never really got serious about it. Turns out I?m better at buying toys than fixing them.? The car was running when parked about five years ago, and though largely complete, does display rust as displayed in the photos. The sale includes the good sized cache of parts ( 5-speed, LSD, etc.) and manuals outlined below, all of which go with the car. This 1972 Datsun 240Z has been cleanly modified and given some serious drivetrain tuning by our friends at Z Car Garage. The heart is a Rebello 3.0L stroker with triple Mikuni carburetors. Chassis dyno curves are included to back up the horsepower and torque claims, and we love that no turbos or injection were needed to hit these numbers. The rest of the build is filled with quality choices like Techno Toys control arms, a 280ZX 5-speed, and Koyo aluminum radiator. This 1994 Subaru SVX LSi has been extensively modified for street and track use, and is said to be able to run with Porsche 964?s and E36 M3?s on the latter. Even stock these are interesting, quirky, nice handling cars, but saddled with inadequate brakes and prone-to-fail automatic transmissions. This example has been converted to run a WRX 5-speed manual, really freeing up the built flat six?a very nice sounding motor even in stock form.
