Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1988 Toyota MR2 (chassis JT2AW16J9J0130474) is the rare supercharged model and the cleanest we?ve seen since the mid-?90s. The seller and third owner has had the car for two years. He says it drives and runs perfectly with all factory options and accessories 100% functional. The car is completely stock apart from an aftermarket exhaust (despite his efforts to find an OEM replacement) and the factory wheels are included as are the mounted Panasports. It is also said to be entirely original apart from a resprayed plastic front bumper and chin spoiler. The seller notes that all cadmium plating is perfect and rubber seals at still supple, something unheard of on '80s Toyotas. He is modest and won?t say it, but we think this is possibly the best early MR2 in the USA. It is now available in Rochester, New York for $16,500.

This 1965 TZ1 (chassis AR750016) has been with the same owner for nearly 40 years and comes with extensive, impressive period race history detailed further in the listing. Said to be unrestored, the car presents as a nicely maintained but properly utilized vintage race car?just how we like ?em. Extensive recent mechanical work includes a rebuilt twin-plug 1600 CC motor, and the car is eligible for a large number of prestigious events in Europe and America. We'd ship the car straight to the Pittsburgh Vintage GP, then on to Spa in the Fall and the Tour Auto next Spring. Find it here at Fantasy Junction in Emeryville, California for $1,375,000.

"BaT, This TR6 was the fastest decision I've ever made in buying a vintage car (and that's saying a lot).  About 5 minutes into an exploratory discussion, the owner said:  "I guess I should disclose that I'm Randy's father (as in Randy N., the founder of BaT).  That made it easy.  If I can't trust Randy's dad, the guy who helped inspire this entire enterprise, who on earth can I trust?  His description and photos were great, too. So I said, "OK, just send wiring instructions." Alan was very generous and drove the car to me and dropped it off a few days later.  It's even better than I expected.  It feels virtually new.  The suspension is very much on the "firm" side, the exhaust note is lovely, it's tight as a drum, and it very pretty.  I may need the occasional new filling, but it's worth it."
