BaT Exclusive: Preserved and Upgraded Black-Plate 1969 BMW 2002 This 1969 BMW 2002 (VIN 1664730) is a two owner, unrestored sunroof equipped car purchased from the first owner?s family 14 years ago. Delivered new in Germany through a factory tourist delivery program, the sale includes the original European plates and a service book with break-in stamps from multiple locations across the continent. After Europe it came home to California where it has lived ever since. Since taking ownership in 2000, the seller has added a number of easily reversible, tasteful modifications like an E21 5-speed, upgraded discs, period correct Ronal alloy wheels, Bilsteins and a Nardi steering wheel. All factory parts are included in the sale. Overall the car looks excellent and is currently in sorted, rust free condition with original paint everywhere but the front right corner. The car is a RHD example originally supplied to the UK, and public records confirm that only four remain registered in the UK.
