By necessity the car has been very well maintained, and though not show quality it is fully functional and presents as an attractive, honest driver. Since 1995 the car has accumulated a yearly  average of 3,500 "almost trouble free" miles—the seller's own words—which sounds pretty darn reliable for any MGA, and apart from a few small holes in the front, inner fenders it is said to be rust free.
