After almost seven years and nearly 1000 cars listed as BaT Exclusives over the past seven years, today we are excited to announce a new way of buying and selling cars: weekly auction events right here at Bring a Trailer. Many BaT Exclusives generate dozens of ready buyers in the first hours, leaving many people frustrated about cars they very much want to own. We think we can do better. And to start things off well while giving the new system a shake-down, we are selling three of our own favorite vehicles in this week's event. Check out how the system works and see the details on our Boss 302, E30 M3, and Alfa step-nose here at BaT Auctions. Click here to read more... |
This 1972 Datsun 240Z sounds to be a solid, good running driver and is claimed to retain all its original paint. We like this bright factory blue which seems to be quite a bit more rare than the more commonly seen silver and orange, and though usually mated with a white interior—as in this example—swapping in a set of donor or reproduction vinyl wouldn't be too difficult. Find it here on eBay in Sacramento, California for $10,500 OBO. Click here to read more... |
This 1969 Skyline GT-R appears to be an authentic original powered by Nissan's exotic 24 valve, DOHC, 1980 cc S20 straight six, though the last two digits of its pictured chassis plate have been intentionally obscured in photos for some reason. We use Chrome's built-in translation, but interpreting translated Japanese is never straightforward, and these two factors leave us hesitant to call it an original with any certainty. Regardless, the S20 motor alone is worth a large chunk of the seller's asking price, the car seems to be in very good condition, and we like these early four door variants even more than the later coupes. Find it here at enthuno-mori.com in TochigI, Japan for 9,550,000 JPY (~$94,089 today). Click here to read more... | Also new on Bring a Trailer:
