From 11/8/2012: This 1967 Sunbeam Alpine was purchased by the seller in 2010 and is painted in a rare, one-year-only Orchid Green. It has been re-sprayed once, but the black paint on the factory hardtop is believed to be original. This Alpine is very clean and we like the modifications including the Rostyle wheels, the Weber down-draft carb, and the correct overdrive transmission. Any of them could easily be reverted to stock, but the current set-up maintains the original charm while making it a better driver... a winning formula. Large holes are found all over on the car's body and the rear package tray is completely gone, which as the seller points out is odd, as the floors and firewall are mostly intact despite obviously heavy exposure to moisture in the jambs and interior. With half it's weight likely turned to red oxide dust, this one's almost certainly destined for parts duty, as getting it back on the road would take a near miraculous restoration effort .
