This 1961 Mercedes-Benz L-319 delivery truck is said to have been owned originally by the city of Montréal, Québec for sewage inspection. It then somehow made it west to Victoria, British Columbia where it was partially restored and made into something of an art car. While the truck looks a bit worse for wear, the seller states that it received a fair amount of mechanical and body work and currently runs and drives well. With much of the major work done, this L-319 is a blank slate ready for a period restoration or the creative imprint of a new owner. Find it here on eBay in Portland, Oregon with reserve not yet met.
