This 1968 Mercedes Benz 280SL is said to have been stored for some time, and though shown on a trailer is claimed to need only new tires and a battery. Sale includes a hardtop, and we like this blue and black over blue color combination quite a bit. Though it's not clear if a 4 or optional 5-speed model, the former is still preferable over an automatic, and these large engine examples arguably offer the best W113 driving experience. Find this one here on eBay in Atco, New Jersey with no reserve and fast bidding.

The seller also points out that just 1,599 of these cars were produced in '36, with an unknown percentage having been sold to right hook markets. How many others could possibly be out there?
