BaT Auction #12: Eight Cars Now Open for Bidding! BaT Auction #12 is now live! Following the 6-for-6 sale result yesterday, we are increasing the number of cars offered this week to keep up with the growing number of great submissions. The white 1971 Lotus Elan S4 Coupe was built by a Lotus expert and enthusiast in Australia. The 1965 Ford Falcon Sprint has been rally proven in the La Carrera, Targa Newfoundland, and Chihuahua Express. The 1969 Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 looks great in black/black and is a nicely sorted example. A 2002 BMW M5 has 63k original miles and all factory Imola Red paint. The 1964 Buick Skylark features an 8-liter Cadillac V8 and is a former BaT Exclusive. The 1971 Innocenti Mini Cooper is the Italian variant of the venerable British icon and is very well modified. Finally, the 1990 BMW M3 roller is looking for someone to bring it back to life. He says it is one of 73 408's ever produced, and that he has added 1600 miles in the last year. Find it here on eBay in Canton, Connecticut with no reserve. Click here to read more...   Enhanced R107: AMG 3.6 Powered 1984 Mercedes Benz 280SL This 1984 R107 chassis SL started life as a 280SL before being professionally converted to 3.6L AMG power. Said to be a flawless one-off, power comes from a hand-built, AMG-tuned version of MB's M104 good for almost 290 HP. Originally fitted to the W202 chassis C36, this car sees it working with a 5-speed manual unavailable in the small sedan. Other upgrades include 4 pot brake calipers, 16" BBS snowflakes and leather-lined Recaros.
