Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

1929 Ford Model A Roadster Hot Rod Front

This 1929 Ford Model A roadster is fresh from competing in this year's Race of Gentlemen on the beaches of Wildwood, New Jersey and was built with period-correct parts by the owner of a Santa Cruz-based traditional hot rod shop. Recently covered by both Hemmings and a local news channel, the car looks and sounds fantastic, and though we love a good flathead V8 these four cylinder builds are cool, less expected alternatives. Find it here on eBay in Aptos, California with no reserve beyond an $18k starting bid.

Wheelie Machine: 1969 Meyers Tow'dster

This 1969 Meyers Tow'dster is incorrectly listed as a Tow'd, a similar but non-street legal machine designed to be towed to the desert or beach. Built by the same firm responsible for the classic and often-imitated Manx fiberglass VW-based kits, the Tow'd and Tow'dster were both sold in much smaller numbers. This example looks to be in far better shape than most we've come across, and with a 1915cc motor running big carbs we're sure it's a lot of fun to blast around on the streets. Find it here on Craigslist in Lakeside, California for $11,500.
