Super Sleeper: 427 Powered 1978 Chevrolet Chevette This 1978 Chevrolet Chevette (VIN 1B08J8Y271586) is said to have started out as an all original, two owner car that was always garaged and in excellent condition. The seller has since restored the car with NOS parts and trim, and though you'd never suspect it was anything but an underwhelming if fantastically well-kept stocker from the outside, it packs a built 427 big block with aluminum L88 heads where an Isuzu-sourced, 63 horse 1.6L four would have been installed at the factory. We like red on these and the paint is claimed to be original. The seller mentions some parts that are missing or will need to be replaced but this Scirocco looks like a clean driver.
