This 1976 450SE is a short wheelbase model that features a 6.9 engine swap from a fire-damaged 1979 450SEL, along with transmission, rear-end and various other pieces. MB only installed the 6.9 in LWB models fitted with hydropneumatic suspension, and this car is both lighter and coil sprung, a combo we have always wanted to test out with the big V8. We like the black AMG Penta wheels too, and one included Euro bumper will put the next owner on the right track. Find it here on Craigslist in Seattle, Washington for $7,500.
