This 1988 Mercedes Benz 300CE was converted to AMG Hammer spec from new, and though it's not clear which of the model's two "base" V8's it was originally equipped with, it is known that the Affalterbach firm swapped in a range-topping 6.0 version of their 32V M117 in 1990, upping displacement by either 1,000 or 600cc as the case may be. Described as one of roughly 12 Hammer coupes made, the car looks absolutely fantastic and further benefits from an extremely rare manual transmission. Find it here on 500E.nl in Heerhugowaard, Netherlands with POA (scroll down). Special thanks to Dutch reader Jaap A. for the submission!
