Today's close of Auction 15 saw three cars miss their reserve by less than $1000, but we are happy to report that deals are underway between sellers and high bidders. Based on good user feedback, we are adding fields showing more seller and title information in the BaT Essentials box. We always welcome your feedback, so keep it coming!

This week we are excited to announce the next round of submissions. The 1958 Austin Healey 100/6 is a well-prepared, Colorado Grand veteran from a large Midwest collection. The 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT is a rare early production 105-series car in it's original colors. The 1970 Porsche 911T is a complete matching-numbers project that is selling at no reserve. The 1971 BMW 200otii Touring is the fuel-injected performance model featuring the rare non-USA hatchback body style. The 1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo is back after the buyer couldn't follow through on his commitment, citing an angry wife who was not thrilled with his purchase. The 1997 Volvo V90 Wagon is a hotrod sleeper with an LS1-swapped V8 and 6-speed manual. A sharp looking 1963 Corvair Monza is a turbocharged rear-engine cruiser that is nicely sorted. Finally, the 1981 BMW 320i is a well-preserved example with original paint and an extensive documentation file.

1948 Packard Woody

This 1948 Packard Series 22 Station Sedan (chassis 22933230) is said to have been in longtime storage prior to being purchased by the seller, and a Google search of the VIN shows what is likely the same car offered at auction without reserve two months ago, which ultimately sold for $13k. Condition is described as original and the seller says all parts are accounted for, and despite being presented on roller-jacks the car is said to run and drive. Find it here on eBay in Edgecomb, Maine with a $20k BIN.

5-Speed Six Liter: 1988 AMG Hammer Coupe

This 1988 Mercedes Benz 300CE was converted to AMG Hammer spec from new, and though it's not clear which of the model's two "base" V8's it was originally equipped with, it is known that the Affalterbach firm swapped in a range-topping 6.0 version of their 32V M117 in 1990, upping displacement by either 1,000 or 600cc as the case may be. Described as one of roughly 12 Hammer coupes made, the car looks absolutely fantastic and further benefits from an extremely rare manual transmission. Find it here on 500E.nl in Heerhugowaard, Netherlands with POA (scroll down). Special thanks to Dutch reader Jaap A. for the submission!
