BaT Auction #19: Bidding Now Open! Yesterday's auction was another successful week with 7 of 8 cars sold and confident bidding across the board. Eight new submissions are looking for new owners this week, with a nice mix of sports, touring, utility! The 1966 Jaguar XKE FHC is a gorgeous blue/blue covered headlight Series 1 example with extensive documentation from new. The 1972 DeTomaso Pantera is an early small bumper car with original engine and Campagnolo wheels. A 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet has just 27k original miles and features a 6-speed manual. The 1980 Lancia Gamma 2500 Coupe is a rare European GT in excellent condition. A 1955 Messerschmitt KR200 is an unusual microcar from the first year of production. The 1995 Audi S6 is a well-maintained driver featuring a 6-speed and well-chosen performance upgrades. A 1961 GMC Model 1000 Pickup has been nicely restored by its 36 year-long owner. Finally, the 1983 Mercedes-Benz 500SEL is a long wheelbase Euro model being sold at no reserve. Click here to read more...   The Reference: Beautifully Restored 1966 Glas 1700GT This 1966 Glas 1700GT is one of the nicest restored examples we've seen yet, the seller describing it as both concours ready and as a reference point for accuracy among Glas enthusiasts. Built in the same year as BMW's acquisition, production was halted completely by the end of 1967. Styled by Frua and built by Maggiora, these cars are beautifully detailed and look even better in person.
