This 1981 Mercedes Benz 300TD (chassis WDBAB93A8BN005071) was originally a turbo diesel wagon but has been given an engine swap that now provides three times the horsepower. We are neither diesel nor originality loyalists, and we love freeway on-ramps, so this engine swap makes this W123 wagon far more appealing to us than many others. The seller's aunt and uncle had the swap performed 20 years ago, and it is now powered by a ZZ3 crate engine with aluminum heads and a 700R4. Find it here on eBay in Fullerton, California for $9200. Special thanks to BaT reader Pete S. for this submission!

This 1956 Heinkel Kabine is said to have been a running and roadworthy car before disassembly in preparation for a now stalled restoration effort. Further described as complete but with "no extra parts", the ad is about 90% cut-and-paste Wikipedia article, which is pretty odd as we'd imagine that most people in the market for a single cylinder German bubblecar project are likely already more than casually familiar with their history and engineering details. Find it here on eBay in Benicia, California with reserve not met.
