Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

With so many sellers submitting their cars to BaT Auctions, we find that often sellers have no ability or interest in taking photos themselves. Many sellers want someone local with photo and lighting knowledge, to capture the inside and outside of their car. Are you that person?

We are building a database of car enthusiast photographers, both pro and amateur, who are interested in making themselves available to shoot for sellers local to them. The goal is clear and honest images, not false processing or Photoshop skills. BaT doesn't want a cut of any photographer fees, we think we win if the car is well photographed. Interested in adding yourself to our list? Send us the following info to photos@bringatrailer.com so that we can pass it along to sellers in your area!

  • Name

  • Location

  • Website or gallery URL of sample work

  • Short description of yourself and your car photo experience

  • Fee estimate for shooting a local car

Thanks!

This 1966 Sunbeam Tiger MkIA (chassis B382000992LRXFE) was converted into a street-legal, SCCA rule book following racer about seven years ago, though according to the seller has seen minimal track time since. Sale includes its original 260, and power currently comes from a 302 bored .060 over to 310 cubic inches. Quality of work looks good, and the ad describes the car as very quick. Find it here on eBay in Saint Louis, Missouri with a $39,900 BIN.

This 1967 OSI 20M TS looks and sounds like a good driver, especially compared to the scruffy project featured here earlier today. Officine Stampaggi Industraiali was a sort of semi-independent niche design branch of Ghia, and these Taunus-based coupes are probably their most well-known design. This one is said to be in nice driver-level condition with a swapped 2.6L V6, and we like its attractive white over dark red leather color combo. Find it here on Kapaza in Courtrai, Belgium for 38,500 euros (~$43,830 today). Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission!

This 1988 BMW M5 (VIN WBSDC9306J2791111) is a good looking example benefiting from extensive, largely tasteful modifications including optional Euro-spec M Tech front and rear bumpers, Euro headlights with wipers, upgraded brakes, suspension and more detailed below and in the ad. Described as rust and accident-free and in excellent mechanical order, we like almost everything we see except for the wheels. Find it here on eBay in Costa Mesa, California with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Chris B. for this submission!
