Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

Yesterday was another strong BaT Auction conclusion with 8 of 10 cars sold. We're pleased to see an increasing number of first-time bidders participating - an encouraging sign as the community continues to grow. This week we're excited to present ten new submissions with some very cool British, American, and Japanese offerings.

The 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 was raced in the Avon Tour of Britain when new by Richard Lloyd and is now a sorted and competitive vintage Trans Am racer. A 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible is a top of the line model featuring its original tri-carb V8 and factory air conditioning. The 1960 MGA 1600 roadster has been professionally restored and is driven regularly by its enthusiast owner. A 1982 Land Rover 88 Santana was recently imported from southwestern Spain and is ready to drive. The 1969 MGB GT has been fully restored with overdrive by its owner who owned it in 1989 and bought it back again in 2012! A 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ74 was imported from Japan earlier this year and is said to remain in excellent, largely original condition. The 1992 BMW 850 coupe is a V12 autobahn cruiser that looks great in dark blue over black leather. A 1979 Datsun 280ZX has 19k original miles and is one of the nicest we've seen. The 1971 MGB roadster looks cool is factory orange and is equipped with desirable chrome bumpers and Laycock overdrive. Finally, a 1961 Corvair Greenbriar Camper Van has a fully decked out interior and is being sold at no reserve.

This 1993 Volkswagen Eurovan Westfalia Weekender looks clean, well-kept and attractive in white over BBS snowflakes, the seller and claimed second owner adding that it runs excellently and benefits from new tags, a clean title and smog certificate. We didn't even know these were offered with 5-speed manuals Stateside, and really like the idea of a Westy camper with modern-ish safety, convenience and reliability. Find it here on Craigslist in San Jose, California for $14,500.

This 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne (chassis A590126068) has been with the seller since 1992 or so, back when it was still equipped with its factory straight six and 3-speed manual. Converted to a drag car shortly afterward, it now runs a custom built 402ci big block and Powerglide, a combo capable of flinging the two ton boat through a quarter mile in 10.68 seconds at 123 MPH. Still wearing original paint, it nails the nostalgic drag car thing right on the head and sounds very well screwed together, too. Find it here on eBay in Eugene, Oregon with reserve not met.
