This 1949 Chrysler New Yorker was a longtime California car prior to the seller's purchase and is quite solid although the ad mentions some surface rust in and around the trunk. Said to run and drive well, the Chrysler's straight-8 and fluid drive transmission sound to have been well maintained by the seller along with the rest of the car, an oil change and water pump are the list of sorted items. Sun baked paint and worn interior aren't top notch but look good enough for regular cruising. In addition to the Chrysler's upkeep we'd also like to congratulate the seller on a well written ad. Find it here on the H.A.M.B. in Claremont, North Carolina for $9,000 or trade for a pre-1966 car.

The example shown here wears the same numbers on its doors, but seems to have been restored sometime in the past several years and is now prepped for SCCA H Production vintage racing. Find it here on eBay in New Milford, Connecticut for $37,500 OBO. Mileage is quoted as 538k and change, however it seems as if the seller is including tenths in this figure--the five figure odo shows just under 54k, and based on the near-new looking interior it occupies it's a believable figure. What a shame it's an automatic. Find it here on eBay in Fort Worth, Texas with nearly 50 bids approaching $31k and reserve not met. Click here to read more... | Also new on Bring a Trailer:
