Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

Yesterday was another exciting conclusion with 8 of 10 cars sold and many eclipsing their reserves in the final minutes. This week features an another awesome group of vehicles from the '50s through the '90s. How can you not love a disassembled Espada?

The 1957 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint is an early short wheelbase 750-series example finished in gorgeous light blue and still retaining its original engine. A 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet has been with its PCA owner for 18 years and has 72k original miles with an extensive service history file. The 1972 Datsun 240Z has been thoroughly restored with new paint, interior, and a rebuilt matching-numbers engine. A 1967 Dodge Dart V8 Hardtop has been tastefully customized with all black exterior and performance drivetrain by a well-known shop. The 1972 Lamborghini Espada is a complete car and great basis for restoration with original details and parts present including the original V12 with all six Weber carburetors. A 1953 MG TD was given a full body-off restoration a few years ago and looks great with correct detail touches inside and out. The 1989 BMW Alpina B10 was recently imported from Japan and features a professional 5-speed manual transmission swap. A 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser is a largely original example with upgraded 4-speed transmission and rebuilt mechanicals. The 1988 BMW M5 looks great in black/black and has been fastidiously maintained with a new timing chain and rebuilt drivetrain. Finally, a 1991 Mazda Miata is a fresh survivor example with just 32k miles being sold by its original owner.

This 1963 Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint (chassis AR820411) is rusty, beat-up and sad looking, though fortunately its big, lovely six still turns by hand and sounds to be complete as well. Many boxes of parts are pictured separately, and despite what it looks like we still hold out hope it's not beyond restoration. Find it here on eBay in Hilton, New York with no reserve.

This seller is offering three different cars in one auction, however due to repeated requests has broken down individual pricing as follows: $52,500 for the 1960 DeSoto Adventurer and $68,500 each for the 1959 El Camino and 1959 Edsel Corsair. We're only interested in DeSoto and Edsel, and will focus on those two in this feature. Both have been fully restored and look great in photos, and the Edsel is a custom one-off featuring an OEM-looking folding hardtop swapped in from a same-year Ford Galaxie Skyliner. Find them here on eBay in Tiffin, Iowa.

This 1972 Nissan Fairlady ZG is a scarce model differentiated from standard cars by fitment of a factory-made but dealer-installed "G-nose". Offered to homologate its use in Group 4 racing, the smoother, fiberglass front fascia with faired-in lights offered greater aerodynamic efficiency and was paired with with the overfenders seen here as well as a rear spoiler in many cases. This one has been restored and looks great. Find it here on enthuno-mori.com in Gifu, Japan for 11.5m JPY (~$96k today).
