This 1964 Land Rover Series 2A SWB 88" (chassis 24413241B) is a long-time California truck that the seller has owned since 2006. He says it has a rust-free frame, bulkhead, and body and that he has reliably driven it all over the state. The stock and slightly worn look and feel of this truck are great, and we like the galvanized roof rack and the seller's obvious knowledge of the model. The recently added Global Roamer overdrive unit is also a plus. Find it here on eBay in California with a $11,995 opening bid. Special thanks to BaT reader Granville P. for this submission.

"Hi BaT,
After a very pleasant transaction I arranged to pick up Henry's Vette in Saratoga, CA on May 3rd, 2 weeks after the auction ended. Wow, what a car - what a beast! Beautiful, fast and loud. Everywhere we go, questions are asked and requests for pictures are granted.
On to Yosemite. Nothing like the deep song that BB plays for us going thru the switchbacks. Next down the Sierras and over to Las Vegas. Then on to Zion NP. And to answer that burning question, we don't pass to many gas stations, that's the price of admission. On to Salt Lake City to visit my niece and then east to Steamboat.
And then over to Boulder. Those Micky Thompson tires do quite well in the snow too! Isn't this May with a drought? Next up, head up to Rt 80 and make some time east hoping to miss the tornadoes and hail. Don't want to jinx anything, but she's purring like a kitten, when not tiring like a lion.

This one is clean both externally and under the hood, and runs a 312 Y-block V8 and full-syncro Mustang 3-speed shifted via the column. Pics of the real car in action are below as well, which show the blue to have been a deeper and metallic color, but otherwise the build looks quite close to the original. Find it here on eBay in Wilmington, North Carolina.
