This pair of Austin Healey Sprite prototypes are among the last purpose built race cars to come out of AH's Warwick-based Experimental shop in the late 60's. The '68 coupe (chassis HAN9-R-238) is said to have been purpose built for that year's Le Mans 24 hours, but a last minute change meant it didn't run, the car instead making a name for itself with a strong finish at Sebring the following year. The '69 roadster (chassis HAN9-R-250) is described as the very last prototype made by Healey and was first raced at Sebring in 1970. Find them offered as a pair here on eBay in Azle, Texas for $850k OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Douglas N. for this submission.

Most of these NA cars were either gawky LWB 2+2's, automatics or both, and the seller says this one's well maintained and in factory condition. Find it here on Craigslist in Denver, Colorado for $9,500. Special thanks to BaT reader CarlaClint V. for this submission.

Though by no means a dime a dozen, these cars have seemed undervalued relative to the exploding E-type market for a long time, with this particular example checking all the right boxes for those more concerned with driving than collectability. Find it here at LB Limited in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for $49,500. Click here to read more... | Also new on Bring a Trailer:
