Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1982 LWB Land Rover Series III came to the U.S. by way of Greece, and is claimed to be rust-free with only 45,000 miles. A few modifications have improved performance, cosmetics, and utility while much of the originality has been retained. We like these 2-door models because they can run either full tops as shown, or half cabs in a more pick-up style configuration.  Find it here on eBay in Bethesda, MD with a $25,000 BIN price.

This just in from the buyer of the Ferrari Testarossa that we featured here on BaT last Fall (link):

"Hello Bring a Trailer,

I am a long-time subscriber and love reading the email in the morning. In October 2014, I saw a Gray 1987 Ferrari Testarossa that was posted. I fell in love with the car and it couldn't have happened at a better time. I was starting to look at Testarossa's for sale at the time and this ad came up.

I emailed the seller and spoke with him, but he was flooded with emails and couldn't respond to them all. I thought that I had lost the car. I looked at a few other Testarossa's and flew cross country to see one, but this rare gray on red one kept coming to my mind. I found the old emails I sent him and contacted him in February 2015, the car was still available at the original asking price. We spoke on the phone for a while, he was very clear about the condition of the car and its issues. I arranged to fly out two days later to Florida to see the car. When I saw it, I knew that it was the one.

It did have its issues such as the paint had road rash on the front, the timing belts needed to be done, and the engine compartment needed cleaning up. I shook his hand and we had a deal. The car came with its tool kit and a full matching set of luggage. When the car finally made its way to California it was taken in for service. It has needed a ton of work, but it should drive like a new car. I have been working out of state and was only able to drive it for a week before it went in for service in march.

I just wanted to say thank you to Bring A Trailer, the people at the mechanics knew of the car and were surprised that it found its way to the west coast. Without Bring a Trailer, I never would have found this car. I will be keeping an eye out every morning for the new BaT email.

Thanks,
Michael L."

This 1968 AMC AMX is saud to be powered by a 290 V8 (actually 390, right?) with an automatic transmission and appears to have seen a mild restoration at some point despite the "time capsule" description. The ad doesn't offer much information aside from the basic list of equipment which includes a tachometer and power disc brakes. Find it here on Craigslist in Fort Meyers, Florida for $18,900.
