69k Miles: 1979 Subaru 1600 DL 4WD Wagon
This 1979 Subaru 1600 DL is a 4WD example that’s said to have just under 69k miles from new, the last 6,000 of which are said to have been nearly trouble-free. Further claimed to be in good mechanical order with minimal bubbling and surface rust, the car represents this nearly extinct model very well. 400 HP per Ton: 1963 Lotus 23B Vintage Race Car
This 1963 Lotus 23B (chassis 23S126) has recently been restored and is sold with race records dating back to the early 1990’s. Said to run and handle exceptionally well, the car wears a plaque memorializing participation in the 1995 Monterey Historics and runs a freshened, 200 HP 1600 twin cam. Find it here on eBay in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with reserve not met.
Cinquecento Coupe: 1961 Moretti 850
This 1961 Moretti 500 is a first production year model and one of about 25,000 built, leading us to question the seller’s speculation that only two remain in existence. Described as a driver quality restoration, the car looks pretty good in photos but could use some detail changes to bring out its best. Find it here on eBay in Udine, Italy for $24,900 USD OBO.
Original Paint: AACA Honored 1963 Buick Skylark
This 1963 Skylark is from the last year for Buick’s compact unitbody production and the seller says that it wears all original black paint. Sharing design cues with its larger LeSabre and Electra, this Y-Body rides on a 112″ wheelbase making it substantially smaller than the company’s larger offerings. This particular car has been awarded an American Automobile Club of America Historic Preservation of Original Features (AACA HPOF) designation according to the current owner, who purchased it from the original owner. In order to meet this designation a car must be “essentially as delivered,” as defined by the AACA. Find it here on Hemmings in Cumming, Georgia for $12,500 negotiable.
